Sponsored by the Dean of the College of Education for Women Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed AL-Shatri, The Department of Geography, in cooperation with the lifelong learning Unit, held the scientific workshop titled “Natural disasters and risk prevention”, on Tuesday morning, 2/4/2024 at ten in the morning in the graduate studies hall. The scientific workshop aimed to identify the most important natural disasters that the Arab world may be exposed to and the reasons for their occurrence, to identify a type of natural disaster with a sudden impact, which is floods.
